 MY REFLECTION Kenn N. Echano from STEM 12-A                    Literature in the twenty-first century is a way of appreciating one's own work. It encourages young people to keep subscribing to literature. We will never forget our ancestor's work that teaches us lessons as a result of this. This topic made me more aware of the realities of our world.             We've learned a lot from notable writers' works both in the Philippines and beyond the world. Writers don't write only to earn a reputation for themselves in the world of writing; they write to inspire others in their accomplishments and life stories. It is critical to study our literature in order to gain a better understanding of our past and to gain wonderful insights from the authors who created and wrote literature.  SINIGANG By Marie Aubry Villaceran               Aubrey Villaceran's short story "Sinigang" emphasizes moral principles, especially forgiveness. It is difficult to forgive someone who has wronged you or has committed a sin against you. I understand that forgiveness is conditional on how a sin or error was committed. Maybe I'm the one who has to be forgiven. I'm not sure. Perhaps I've forgotten something.            Because, after all, we shouldn't remember the error, right? What we learned or what we took away from our mistakes. The Ant and the Grasshopper

 The Ants and the Grasshopper By Aesop The Grasshopper spends his summer singing and dancing, while a team of Ants has worked hard all summer collecting food for the winter. He doesn’t understand why the Ants work so hard. When the winter comes, the Grasshopper finds himself dying of hunger and sees the ants serving up food to survive. He, then understands why the Ants were working so hard.  The Lesson: There’s a time for work and a time for play! Just because you don’t think something is important right now, doesn’t mean you should ignore it or put it off. It’s okay to have fun, but make sure your work is done before! We can also use a number of strategies to understand, analyse, and even assess texts using multimedia platforms. By use of multimedia in literature, studying such this matter has a significant impact especially for students. We could use concept maps, tag cloud, weblogs, mobile phone text tula, slideshow presentations, and video(animated or not) as multimedia formats. We can also use them innovatively to analyse various literary text genres. It is even more exciting to study literature with the aid of multimedia, in which you can deliberately and constructively build cognitive structures using advanced technologies and softwares.
